G-spot amplification is a fast and simple in-office treatment designed for women who want to enhance their sexual sensitivity and satisfaction. The treatment itself takes only seconds to perform, and your entire visit usually lasts under 15 minutes. This special procedure actually enlarges the G-spot, leaving it approximately the size of a quarter and rising about one-quarter of an inch from the vaginal wall. This makes it more sensitive and easier to stimulate. The treatment has a high rate of success. In clinical studies, it was found that 87 percent of women who underwent G-spot amplification experienced positive results.
How is G-Spot Amplification Done?
First, you will have a consultation with Dr. Lisa Erhard. During this meeting, you will be asked about your medical history and what you hope to gain from having the treatment. She will then explain what the G-spot is and where it is located. You will also be informed of any alternatives to the treatment as well as the potential complications and risks. This consultation also provides you with an opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the procedure.
Once you are ready for the procedure, you will be instructed to lie on an exam table and place your feet in stirrups. This part is not unlike a routine gynecological visit. Next, your doctor will perform a pelvic exam and take measurements of your G-spot. These measurements will be used to prepare a specialized speculum that has an adjustable opening in it to delineate the exact position of your G-spot.
This speculum is inserted, and your doctor will then inject a local anesthetic into the appropriate location. Once the area is anesthetized, your doctor will use another small needle to inject a filler into your G-spot. Afterward, a tampon will be inserted to absorb any bleeding from the injection site. You must remember to remove this after four hours.
Is There Any Downtime?
There is no downtime necessary after the procedure, and you can immediately resume your normal activities. Sexual activity can generally be resumed the next day.
Who is a Candidate?
Ideal candidates for G-spot amplification are over the age of 18, sexually active, have no significant sexual problems and want to experience greater satisfaction in their sex lives. It is also important to have realistic expectations of the procedure’s results. However, you may not be a good candidate for G-spot amplification if you:
- Have an active infection of the vagina, such as a yeast infection
- Have a sexually transmitted disease
- Are currently menstruating
- Have a history of allergic reactions
- Currently have a serious health problem or urogenital disorder
- Are taking blood-thinners
Are There Risks?
As with most any procedure, there is a potential for risks with G-spot amplification, but these are extremely rare. During your consultation, our medical team will review all possible risks associated with the treatment.
